Dillon Izzo had the best finish of the day earning a gold medal in his division. He went 3-1 winning two of his matches in golden score. He did really well in working on his taiotoshi and earned his first gold medal in local competition.

Brandon Izzo fought very well in his new intermediate division against much more experienced players. He won two matches by Ippon, throwing his first opponent with uchimata and his second match with a excellent sasae tsuri komi ashi to take a silver medal.

All three Boser kids also earned medals and fought very well at the tournament. Thomas Boser had 3 matches, throwing one of his opponents twice with osotogari to take a bronze medal. Phillip Boser also took a Bronze medal, defeating his last opponent by osaekomi to take the win. Anna Boser also took a silver medal in her division. In her match she had a good newaza exchange – almost pinning her opponent twice.
