| This was basically a good flick. This movie showed that they could make a good movie from a comic book. However, I kind of felt that they were spending a lot of time making sure that they could set up sequels. The cameos of Iceman (Bobby Drake) and ShadowCat (Kitty Pryde) were cute. Supposedly, Jubilee and Collossus had cameos as well, but I missed them... (As I did Stan Lee's) If you can tell me where I missed them, I'd be appreciative. | ||
| This movie was good. Took me a while to figure out the twist, but I did... before it was revealed! | ||
| I loved this movie. Could it have REALLY been this good? Or do I just love Denzel Washington that much? | ||
| Yet another movie that I watched through recommendation. Didn't expect a lot, but quite a few solid performances. Hard to believe that Viggo Mortensen is the same guy who played the Master Chief in GI Jane! | ||
| Good movie. Didn't know what to expect, but the plot kept twisting. | ||
| This movie had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the movie didn't have enough time to develop each of the two storylines. It's worth a watch, but not my favorite. For a good Costner baseball film, try 'Bull Durham' or 'Field of Dreams'. | ||
| Watched this one before seeing 'For Love of the Game' to remind me of why I love Kevin Costner's baseball films. Good cast, good dialog, and a good story! | ||
| Not worth the hype, but there were some interesting points. Watching Mike Myers dressed up as the huge guy was worth a chuckle. | ||

After a HUGE wait for this film, I wasn't disappointed. It was what I would expect from Kevin Smith, which is snappy dialog, and good entertainment. No superb camera work or special effects. Interestingly enough, I saw this in a large group and most of the women in the group didn't like it. |

I almost got dragged to this movie, if you can believe it. The trailers just didn't appeal to me. The movie, however, was INCREDIBLE! I won't try to do it justice, just go see it! |
|
| Could it be because I just don't really care for Cruise or Kidman? Or could it be that it just wasn't that good? It seemed to me that there was just too many loose ends that weren't tied up, and a lot of gratuitous nudity. After spending three hours watching this, I still ask myself why? (Except for the company...) | ||
| A few little things here, but this movie was basically the undercover cop formula. I left the theater unfulfilled. It just didn't do it for me, no interesting twists, and the ending was anticlimactic. | ||
| As a HUGE KISS fan in the 70s, I just had to see this film. Carolina was nice enough to accompany and humor me for the evening. The film was mildly entertaining, but the music was great! Check it out if you're a classic KISS fan, and like that music. Else, you just won't enjoy it. | ||

Omar Epps and Taye Diggs star in this great 'buddy flick'. I'm a HUGE fan of the buddy flick. Many movies have action and explosions, with the buddy theme as a sub-plot. This movie, like many of the greats, is a simple out-and-out buddy flick, with the rest of the story as a sub-plot! I won't ruin the plot, just go see this one! | |
I didn't know what to expect when I came to see this one. Rene Russo and Pierce Brosnan entertained me far more than expected. I was expecting, at most, a 3-star film, but I was pleasantly surprised, and entertained, by this film. |

| John Turturro and John Goodman lead this wonderful film. John Turturro is Barton Fink, a successful east coast playwright who gets lured to LA in hopes of becoming a screenwriter, but has to deal with writer's block. As normal, the Cohen brothers deliver us in a fashion we'll NEVER forget! A must see! | ||

This movie depicts the events of a drug deal from 3 different points of view. After seeing Swingers (also directed by Doug Liman) I came in expecting to be entertained and was not disappointed. The scene at the dinner table in the police officers home is priceless. |

I really like Billy Bob Thornton and John Cusack both. Billy Bob shows, once again, that he can play a variety of characters and situations. While I was entertained, I left the theatre unfulfilled, as I was hoping for so much more. |

Was it good? Sure, but unfortunately Phantom Menace failed to live up to the hype (what could live to all that hype?) While it was entertaining, I failed to get excited and really 'into' this movie the same way I was to Star Wars (A movie made with relative unknowns at the time) 20 years earlier. |

| I may get a lot of controversy on this one, but I think that this movie was one of the finest ever made! One of few movies I can think of that will keep adults and children alike interested and glued to the screen. This is one of the few times when the movie entertains more than the book! I've seen it dozens of times and never get tired of it! | ||
| I watched this movie not knowing what to expect. At the time it was filmed, many of the players were unknown, but within 2 years two of the principals came into prominence (Henry Winkler as the Fonz (supposedly based on his character in this movie) and Sylvester Stallone as Rocky). If you watch close, you can see a cameo by a very young Armand Assante! | ||
| Extremely entertaining! Edward Norton puts in a great performance! Avery Brooks (as normal) was incredible! I really had to think whether to give this one 4 or 5 stars, but I figured it could have been a bit better. | ||
| Billy Bob Thornton was incredible. I first saw this movie in Spanish, and it was an injustice. The way Billy Bob uses his voice makes most of the movie. If you haven't seen this one, I ask you... Why not?? | ||
| I was greatly entertained by this movie. Proof that you don't need to spend millions to make a great film. Writer/Director Kevin Smith reportedly made this movie for $27k!!! Since when has someone done so much with so little! | ||
| A great script, which was written by Quentin Tarantino, and then sold to finance another project which became Resevoir Dogs. Lots of big names in this movie!! check it out!!! | ||
| This look at love and it's problems in the 90s led me to realize why I like Kevin Smith's works. It's because he never has a bad scene! Not only are you entertained, but he usually provokes some thoughts as well!! | ||
| Shannen Doherty and Jeremy London may have top billing, but Jason Lee stole the show! That whole scene where he shakes hands with Michael Rooker (and comments on his ring) is hilarious! | ||
| Since one star is my lowest, that's what I give it, but I hesitate even on that. I love Billy Bob and Ben Affleck, but please. This was beyond unbearable! | ||
| This movie was great! Great story how good people end up in strange situations! Extremely enjoyable, and the DVD is even better!!! | ||
| This movie was the worst! The first movie in years I left the theater early! | ||
| Wonderful cult classic. This film turned me onto Quentin Tarantino and Sam Jackson. Now, if they just hadn't followed up with 'Jackie Brown'... | ||
| A great buddy flick. Val Kilmer was incredible as Doc Holliday! The dialog was great! Especially the scene where Doc says that Wyatt is his friend! | ||
| A great motivational movie. I love watching this movie when I need to get motivated! I did think that Sean Astin could have done a better job, but the movie is solid. Charles Dutton was great!! |
