Brandon Izzo fought very well in his new intermediate division against much more experienced players. He won two matches by Ippon, throwing his first opponent with uchimata and his second match with a excellent sasae tsuri komi ashi to take a silver medal.
All three Boser kids also earned medals and fought very well at the tournament. Thomas Boser had 3 matches, throwing one of his opponents twice with osotogari to take a bronze medal.
